Last updated: 17 August 2026 · App: RecipeReal

RecipeReal is a cook-time app. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what data the app handles — and what it never will. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to give you honest cook-time estimates, and you can delete all of it yourself at any time.

What we collect

• Google account basics — when you sign in with Google: your name, email address, and Google account id. Nothing else from your Google account.
• Your cook contributions — the real times you submit for a recipe (total, hands-on and cleanup breakdowns) and the number of plates you cooked. These feed community averages so estimates get better for everyone.
• Anonymous usage events — which screens are viewed and which features are used, so we know what to improve. No recipe content, no notes, no personal content of any kind.
• Favorites and notes never leave your device — they are stored locally on your phone and are never uploaded to our servers.

What we never do

• No ads.
• No third-party tracking SDKs.
• No selling of data — to anyone, ever.
• No sharing with third parties (and no payment processor is currently active).

How long we keep data

• Account data — kept until you delete it.
• Analytics events — automatically pruned after 90 days.

Your rights & deleting your account

You can delete your account and its data at any time, yourself, in the app:

You can also request deletion, or ask any question about your data, by contacting us at mamounprogrammer@gmail.com.
